The Bibbet Story is the 92nd episode of She-Ra: Princess of Power.

Plot Summary[]

Moral[]

Loo-Kee: "Hi everybody, did you see me in today's show? You're not sure? Take another look. Here I am. In today's show, Koo and Dee were so anxious to show off how brave they were, that they ran off to fight the Horde on their own, and almost got in serious trouble. But fighting doesn't prove how brave you are, sometimes it takes more courage to walk away from a fight. Bye now!"

Behind the Scenes[]

  • Script was approved May 21, 1986 and final script revision took place on August 13, 1986.
  • The Bibbits were originally designed by character artist Charles Zembillas for the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode Search for the Past but were never used until this story.
  • The original script stated that there should be many Horde Troopers on guard at the robot factory. However, in the finished product only two are shown.

Continuity[]

  • The backgrounds for the village of Devlan (also used for other towns like Thaymor) have been flipped horizontally. Most noticeably, the logo above the door at the Laughing Swan Inn is facing the other way.
  • Much of the animation of She-Ra fighting the Horde Troopers during the opening sequence is reused from Duel at Devlan.
  • The animated sequence in which She-Ra picks up two Horde Troopers was originally used in the episode Play it Again, Bow.
  • Part of the animated sequence of She-Ra using her sword to open the ground is reused from A Loss for Words.
  • The machines used by the Evil Horde to cut down the trees first appeared in The Laughing Dragon.
  • The animation of Adora waking up and looking startled was first used in the episode Darksmoke and Fire.
  • The animation of Mantenna falling down the trapdoor was previously seen in A Loss for Words, For Want of a Horse, Flowers for Hordak and A Lesson in Love.
  • Some of the animation of She-Ra pulling the rope during the tug of war is reused from the episode Enemy with My Face.

Errors[]

  • When Loo-Kee is hiding in the episode itself, he is standing behind a tree and some bushes. But when his hiding place is shown again during the moral segment, he is standing in front of the tree and the bushes and is much more visible.
