Plot Summary[]
Moral[]
Loo-Kee: "Hi! Did you find where I was hiding? Take another look. Here I am! Today's story was about helping others. She-Ra helped heal a bird whose wing was hurt. That made her feel good. Behind the Scenes[]
- Script was approved October 4, 1984 and final script revision took place February 27, 1985.
- A different version of Krytis appears in the 2020 episode of the Netflix series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power titled Shot in the Dark. This planet was not taken over by The Horde because of powerful magic forces present there. In retaliation, the Horde turned the planet into a barren wasteland.
Continuity[]
- The character model for King Duplis is a reused and recolored King Thales from the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode A Tale of Two Cities.
- The planet Krytis features reused background elements previously seen as the Vine Jungle in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode It's Not My Fault, the Valley of Power in the episode of the same name and the canyon seen in Teela's Trial.
- The large Krytis bird features an altered design of the Mother Roe seen in the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode Valley of Power, as the Carrock in Betrayal of Stratos and another variation was seen in The Games.
- A new version of Erelandia is mentioned in the Netflix series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power episode Signals and was visited in that series in the episode An Ill Wind.
Errors[]
- King Duplis says his son has been taken to a planet named 'Kyrtis', but later Queen Angella and all the other characters refers to it as 'Krytis'.
- When the Rebels arrive at Graydor on the planet Krytis, the beaten up ship that She-Ra will purchase can already be seen in the seaport in the distance. During their voyage, the ship sinks, and they return to the seaport on the backs of giant birds. But when they do, the same ship can once again be seen in the seaport in the background.
