Having transformed into a heroic figure moments earlier with the help of Sword of Grayskull, Adam battles against the bots to protect the Tiger Tribe, his friends and more importantly the sword. Against them, Evelyn and Kronis continue their reach for their sword. Evelyn casts a duplication spell on the bots which eventually puts them at an advantage. Moments later, however, Adam called upon the power further, using the command "Lighting Strike", which destroyed the remaining bots, but also depleted the sword's power, koncking him out and turning Adam back into his normal self. Kronis and Evelyn are knocked back by Duncan and Krass who arrive moments later in a ship and transport them away. Despite Krass' objections, Teela is able to convince them to take her along.

Setting up a makeshift Tiger Tribe camp, Duncan, Tess, Cringer and Krass question Adam about his abilities, and his transformed form, which Krass jokingly dubs "He-Man". They attempt to force the change again, but find that the Sword is out of energy and needs to be recharged at Castle Grayskull. Nonetheless, Adam is confused about the events that have transpired but each vow to find out what is happening.

Kronis and Evelyn, meanwhile, stumble across a camp of soldiers outside Randor's Checkpoint. They are confused when they notice that the soldiers aren't moving, and go closer to investigate. Evelyn explains that the soldiers have had their life force drained out of them, and it is not long before another soldier stumbles toward them warning them to run. As the soldier passes, they notice a man draining the life force from a soldier. It quickly becomes apparent that the distant man is none other than Keldor, whom they long suspected had died.

Keldor explains that he was severely weakened during their coup ten years earlier, but was not killed. He has spent the last decade in stasis, and must now steal the life force of other people to remain alive. Given this new information, Kronis and Evelyn connect the dots about Adam and reveal that Keldor wasn't the only Royal who survived the night of the coup.

The group panic once more when they are surrounded by bots. With the bots still enchanted to duplicate on attack, the they are unable to defend themselves and find themselves in a difficult situation when Duncan is unable to ready the ship for take off. Suddenly, the tribe are saved by Keldor, who refers to himself as Adam's uncle, both surprising and worrying him simultaneously.
