The Remedy is the 64th episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, written by Ron and Sam Schultz and directed by Bill Reed. Rohad, the former mentor of Man-At-Arms, falls ill, and He-Man must face great perils in the Crystal Mountains to locate a cure.

- In his storyboards, Michel Swanigan suggested that the character design of Balkar from Filmations Blackstar could be reused to serve as Mitro's character model.

- The animation model of the octopus will be used again in Trouble in Trolla and the She-Ra: Princess of Power episode Friendship.
- He-Man's dive into the water was previously seen in Wizard of Stone Mountain.
- The animated sequence of He-Man swinging on vines and flipping over a large branch was based on a piece of animation from Filmations Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle and will be seen again in Capture the Comet Keeper.
