He-Man and the Heroic Warriors ride out to meet Skeletor's demon warriors in a great battle. After emerging victorious, He-Man is suddenly seized by a giant arm made of water and pulled into the sea. He's tangled in magical seaweed and unable to keep Mer-Man from stealing his half of the Power Sword, which is delivered to Skeletor. With the complete weapon, Skeletor is able to open Castle Grayskull and install himself as king. He-Man escapes, but has no way to enter Grayskull in pursuit, until Zodac appears and magically teleports He-Man inside. Skeletor drops the most powerful man in the universe into a dungeon to fight Beastman, who He-Man disposes of by throwing him back up through the trapdoor he fell down. Meanwhile Skeletor's taken advantage of his enemy's distraction by finding the vault containing the castle's secrets which he uses the Power Sword as a key to unlock. He-Man catches up to him then, and realizes he's outmatched by He-Man's ultimate strength, Skeletor grabs for the Power Sword to have a weapon, pulling his half out of the lock and causing it to close. Still no match for He-Man after he retrieves his own sword, Skeletor uses magic to teleport away.
