- This VHS was a special promotional video which featured a thirty-minute edit of several episodes; "A New Beginning", "Sword and Staff", "The Gift", "The Seeds of Resistance" and "The Battle for Levitan".
- The video, strangely, condenses the series' second five part story into twenty minutes.
- The video contains an exclusive opening title crawl, which describes the series as being set 10,000 years in the future.
