The Vengeance of Skeletor is the title of the fourth Masters of the Universe minicomic. It was packaged with Beast Man, Man-At-Arms, Stratos, and Zodak's action figures. The artwork was drawn by Alfredo Alcala.
Summary[]
Skeletor calls for his minions Beast Man and Mer-Man. He sends them on the mission to kill He-Man. He-Man is on his way to a meeting with Teela, when the ambush takes place. The two minions overpower their opponent and Mer-Man carries the motionless body away and throws it into the sea. He-Man regains consciousness, but he finds himself surrounded by a giant undersea monster. Soon Stratos comes to his aid, and He-Man makes it back to dry land safely. Being sure his opposition is crushed, Skeletor and his underlings are trying to break into Castle Grayskull, where the Heroic Warriors are heading too. A battle begins and it is He-Man's cleverness as opposed to the brute force of the villains which wins the fight. Seeing his imminent defeat, Skeletor fires his own energy on Mer-Man, but He-Man saves him. Finally, the Heroic Warriors blast energy rays that make the Evil Warriors flee.

Notes[]
- Teela now rides a golden horse instead of a unicorn.
- At one point, Mer-Man says to Stratos, "This is where the sea conquers the sky!", continuing the rivalry established in Battle in the Clouds.
- However, *Stratos and Mer-Man resemble their prototype version rather than the action figures, indicating that the artwork for this minicomic was completed before that of Battle in the Clouds.
- Stratos is said to be firing a weapon at the sea monster, but the art makes it appear the beam came from his hand, or possibly from the pearl armband he is wearing.
- On page 14 the Heroic Warriors hurry to Castle Grayskull, certain that the Evil Warriors are already there. but the illustration on the next page shows the three heroes standing atop one of Grayskull's turret (the jaw-bridge being wide open) while the Evil doers are still some miles away.
- The title of the fifth issue of the Injustice vs. Masters of the Universe comic book series, The Vengeance of Skeletor, is a reference to the title of this minicomic.
