- The original script identifies the Librarian as being named 'Heron' and he is described as a hermit.
Continuity[]
- The caverns and Salisticar's lair reuses backgrounds from Shokoti's lair as seen in the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode House of Shokoti Part 2 and the tentacled creatures use the same design as the Darklings from the same story.
- The animation model used for the Polar Beast is a reuse of the Grazzler from the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe episode Fisto's Forest.
- The animated sequence of She-Ra transforming her sword into a pole and vaulting with it will be used again in the episode The Inspector.
- The location of the Valley of the Lost was previously mentioned and seen from a distance in the episode She-Ra Unchained and will be visited again in Birds of a Feather and The Rock People.
