Wiki Grayskull

The three primordial deities were three entities who created the planet Eternia and who are worshiped by its inhabitants. They play a pivotal role in the plot of Masters of the Universe: Revolution.

History[]

In the beginning, the gods Zoar and Ka were eternally at war. Then a third god, Ha'Vok, joined them and added balance, and then entropy. The three gods fought among themselves until they realized they were dependent on each other. Thus, the three deities established a truce and worked together to establish the order of Creation.

Zoar, Ka, and Ha'Vok were eventually revered by the people of Eternia. Each god had their own sect of devotees and worshipers, each viewing the story of creation differently. In recompense, the three deities combined their magic to create Preternia, a paradise where the souls of devotees and heroes could find eternal rest. Three towers were erected, created as repositories of the knowledge, magic, and power of all three deities. The Castle of Greyskull was the one dedicated to Zoar.

But as time passed, the followers of Ka and Ha'Vok began to abuse the power granted by their gods and caused a terrible cataclysm with devastating consequences: Ka's followers all perished, while his staff and magic were lost; Ha'Vok's tower was destroyed, and his staff was also lost, until it ended up in Skeletor's hands. Only Castle Greyskull survived the cataclysm.

Masters of the Universe: Revolution[]

After the defeat of Skeletor and Evil-Lyn, Teela, now the new Sorceress of Greyskull, attempted to restore Preternia to ensure the passage of Randor's soul to its eternal rest. When she failed, her mother's spirit, bound to Grayskull after Preternia's destruction, suggested to her that the power of Eternia's three primordial gods (Zoar, Ka, and Ha'Voc) was needed to make it work, and sent her to Darksmoke, where the Staff of Ka was hidden.

In Darksmoke, Teela meets Granamyr and, to her surprise, Evil-Lyn, who has taken responsibility for Granamyr after his interference with the power cosmic has left him terminal. Embittered by humanity's lust for power, Granamyr refuses to help Teela, but Evil-Lyn manages to change his mind. Teela receives the Staff of Ka, which gives her green skin and serpent-themed armor.

As Evil-Lyn trains Teela in the use of Ka's power, they begin to open up about their respective feelings for Skeletor and He-Man. However, their training was interrupted by the arrival of the Horde army.

Teela and Evil-Lyn, soon joined by Duncan and Andra, return to Eternos to reclaim Skeletor's Havok Staff and save Adam. Using the magic of Grayskull, Skeletor outwits and kills Hordak, moments before Evil-Lyn steals the Havok Staff. However, Skeletor begins to combine technology and magic into an incredibly powerful force. To combat him, Teela attempts to fuse the three staffs into one, but the power this releases threatens to overwhelm her.

Gwildor and Orko returned with the Sword of Power just in time, allowing Adam to return to being He-Man and providing Teela with the power needed to complete the fusion. With the staves and magics of all three deities, Teela thus became the Tri-Sorceress, restoring Preternia.
