Trap Jaw as he appears in Masters of the Universe: Revelation.
Biography[]
Trap Jaw was seen driving a Roton into battle when Skeletor's army of Skelcons launched a large scale attack on Castle Grayskull. Man-At-Arms jumped down from his Sky-Sled on to the vehicle's spinning blade, knocked out Trap Jaw with one punch, pushed him out of the pilot's seat and took over flying the vehicle.[1]
Some years later, after magic had all but left the planet Eternia, Trap Jaw became a leading member of the cult of Motherboard overseen by his fellow Evil Warrior Tri-Klops. Ironically, Tri-Klops used one of the few remaining magic items left on the planet to perform the ritual miracles of Motherboard. During this ceremony, Tri-Klops would catch electronic looking water that sprang from a large altar inside Snake Mountain in a magic goblet and force his followers to drink it. By doing so, they would instantly transform into cyborgs, with various limbs being replaced by mechanical weapons.
Together with Whiplash and the robotic Blast Attack, Trap Jaw received various mechanical upgrades, making his already fearsome robotic right arm even larger and more dangerous. When the two mercenaries Teela and Andra were hired by an old lady who called herself Majestra to steal the magic goblet, they entered Snake Mountain and infiltrated the Motherboard ceremony dressed in pilgrim robes.
Andra found herself facing Trap Jaw, whom she fed a mechanical arm Teela had severed from another cultist earlier. Unimpressed, Trap Jaw began to chomp down on the arm with his mighty jaw, but Andra hotwired the arm's mechanicall sawblade, which hit Trap Jaw in the face and knocked him out.[2]
Later, Trap Jaw had received a new mechanical left eye and wore a large scar on his face when he drove a tank like vehicle equiped with a giant crystal powered cannon to one of the last remaining magic fountains on Eternia. Tri-Klops, driving a Roton, ordered Trap Jaw to destroy the fountain, which he did with a single laser blast. Duncan was one of the peasants who had been collecting a few of the remaining magic drops, and began fighting the Motherboard cultists. As Trap Jaw began to aim the mighty cannon atthe former Man-At-Arms, he was surprised when all of it's power was shut down by Andra, who suddenly appeared from underneath the vehicle. Teela then jumped onto the cockpit and knocked Trap Jaw cold. Shortly afterwards, Tri-Klops ordered his cult to retreat.[3]
Trap Jaw was present at Snake Mountain when Skeletor returned, after obtaining and losing the Power of Grayskull several times. He cowered as Skeletor lashed out at the Acolytes, but soon found that he could not harm the statue of Motherboard. The statue of Screeech then began to transform into a large female form. Tri-Klops, Trap Jaw and several acolytes grabbed Skeletor and took away his staff. Various tentacles emerged from the statue's outstretched fingertips and began to infect Skeletor with her techno-virus. Then a small projector appeared on Motherboard's forehead, and an image appeared of the logo of the Evil Horde, a faction Skeletor had been a member of years before.[4]
