Tri-Klops is a supporting antagonist from Netflix's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Appearance[]

Tri-Klops is a levitating drone that consists of a large mechanical headgear ring and smaller components with light circuits, connected together by several cables. The headgear has three optic lens—red, blue, and green—that rotate to the front one at a time.

Personality[]

As a drone, Tri-Klops is programmed only to fulfill its primary directive. When possessing someone, it operates with discretion and subterfuge so as to not draw attention, although it can also command its hosts to do other actions, such as dancing and singing. Also, it appears to be sentient or have emotions to some degree, as it was lowered its head when talked down by Trap Jaw to emulate it was upset, and later made the gesture again after it was imprisoned with the other Dark Masters.

Biography[]

Tri-Klops was built by Kronis as a surveillence and retrieval drone. When Beast Man was unable to locate King Randor, who was being granted sanctuary in the sewers, Kronis deployed Tri-Klops to intercept the Sorcerer Tribe protecting him.

Powers & Abilities[]

The lens of Tri-Klops have scanning technology that can register thermal signatures in its surroundings, enabling it to detect and track its targets. As a stealth drone, it is equipped with cloaking technology to camouflage itself completely. However, its most potent function is the ability to latch itself onto a person's head and overrides their mind, enabling it complete control of the person. Tri-Klops can also execute a host's natural skills and abilities, such as a witch host to cast spells. It can also use its camouflage technology to hide itself when controlling a host, thus avoiding suspicion that the person is being controlled.

Trivia[]

  • Tri-Klops' relationship with Trap Jaw is a reversal of their relationship in past series where Tri-Klops essentially created Trap Jaw.
