Starting in 2024, Mattel started releasing the Turtles of Grayskull action figures. These are in the same 5.5 form factor, with exchangeable parts, like the MOTU Origins and Masters of the WWE Universe figures before them. These new mash-up figures tell a story as to why and how these changes happened.
Like the MOTU Origins figures, these Turtles of Grayskull figures come with Mini Comics. The Deluxe figures come with an art card instead of the mini comic. The art cards are the same size as the mini comics.
Comics[]

Each wave of the Turtles of Grayskull action figures have come with a mini comic, with art/story by Freddie Williams II. There will be at least 4 mini comics in this series.
In May of 2024, Dark Horse Comics announced that Tim Seeley and Freddie Williams II were bringing us a NEW Turtles of Grayskull story in a 4 issue comic series.
In a post on Instagram, Tim Seeley promised that readers would see existing Turtles of Grayskull characters as well as new ones, including Triceratons. Freddie Williams confirmed the inclusion of Triceratons on a Facebook post comment.
Issue 1 of Dark Horse's Turtles of Grayskull comic is scheduled for Sep 25, 2024.
