Following on from the attacks on the Tiger Tribe previously, in which large amounts of drones were destroyed, King Randor receives a briefing from the palace guards about a possible lead. They show him a hologram of He-Man, remarking that the footage was captured by one of the drones, and a further hologram of Teela, citing that she is a known for practicing magic. Randor orders that the suspects be caught and brought to him using all force necessary.

Meanwhile, tensions rise at Castle Grayskull, with Teela desperately trying to restore the Sorceress' statue in hopes that she will return and communicate with them. Teela comes close, but is distracted by Adam and the structure collapses, causing the Sorceress to hide once more. Adam and Krass talk about her father's helmet as Adam struggles finding a private place to urinate.

Kronis and Evelyn become increasingly more impatient with Keldor who has fully transformed into a more vilified being, Skeletor. Evelyn suggests that Skeletor share part of his new power with her and Kronis, like He-Man did with his friends. Skeletor explains that they will need the precious metal Kirbinite to do this, from which the sword is made, but not his Havoc Staff. Kronis reveals that there is a stash of Kirbinite in Randor's palce, but this will be difficult to obtain with the increase in security following the theft of the Sword of Power; Skeletor suggests that they find a new thief to get them inside.

Now with enhanced powers, the Tiger Tribe rebrand themselves the "Masters of the Universe". Following a distress call from palace guards heard by Teela, the Masters of the Universe consider helping the guards, given their proximity to them and the time it would take for Randor's men to arrive. The team is split, with numerous members voting to help and others not. Eventually, a decision is made to aid the guards.

Arriving to aid the guards, they find themselves ambushed by Battle Bones created from havoc — an evil type of magic. They attempt to battle the beasts, but find that their efforts are futile, and the beasts return each time. Adam attempts to use the magic of Grayskull, but finds this futile too. The Masters of the Universe ask Teela to aid them, but she is reluctant to use magic that is not hers unless strictly necessary. Adam is able to convince her and she accepts the magic, transforming into the Sorceress and destroying the monsters.

Afterwards, Teela finally talks with the Sorceress, Eldress. Eldress tells her that she is now the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull, and has all of the abilities that she did. Teela questions if she is destined to the same fate if she uses the magic, but Eldress explains that it is how she choses to use the magic that decides her fate.

One of the Battle Bones has captured General Dolos and brings him to Snake Moutain. There, Kronis scans the General so he can disguise himself as him.
