Yolt is a character from the 1990 animated series The New Adventures of He-Man.
Yolt was a powerful blacksmith who forged new weapons for both the Galactic Guardians and Evil Mutants, after being tricked by Skeletor into thinking the Mutants were on the side of good. He hailed from the planet of Crelus.
He lived a solitary life in a small hovel which housed the Atomic Forge that he used to create his mighty weapons. He went around barefoot and had incredible strength. He wielded his blacksmith's hammer as a tool of his trade as well as his preferred weapon in battle.
Not many beings in the Tri-Solar System were aware that anyone still resided on the planet of Crelus, but a mutant named Needle-Nose somehow learned about the blacksmith's work and managed to steal several weapons from him, including a mace and chain.
The fires of the Atomic Forge foretold him that he would be visited by two sets of strangers, both asking if he would provide them with weapons. One visit would be by a group of evil strangers, the others would be good. Skeletor and the Evil Mutants were the first party to arrive, and managed to convince the blacksmith that they were good by returning the chain sword that had been stolen by Needle-Nose. Yolt agreed to provide the Mutants with new weaponry.
Later, when He-Man and the Galactic Guardians arrived, Yolt assumed they were evil and attacked them. But during the skirmish, He-Man saved Yolt from a falling anvil and proved his true nature. Yolt realized that he had been fooled and immediately began to create new weapons for the Guardians as well.
Unfortunately for Yolt, the two parties faced off against each other using their new weapons as well as some older ones including a Terrortread in and around Yolt's House, causing great damage to the small hovel.
