Zactons were thousand year old robots who were programmed to protect the treasures of the Ancient Ruins in the Sands of Time. They had no legs, but simply glided along the ground and could not be reasoned with. They were able to project a beam from their chest that could suspend intruders in time. They were quick to act without processing new information. However, despite their old data, they did recognize He-Man as being a 'friend to all'.
