Zantar is a character from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
History[]
Zantar is a former member of the Fantos tribe who assisted Rago with his scheme to overthrow Chief Merlo. They worked together to kidnap Podi and used her to steal the Moorfire Stones, which they needed to complete Zegone, their rhinoceros-like vehicle and totem. He-Man, however, was able to stop Zegone before it reached the Fantos tribe's village, and Zantar was sent to work in the prison mines along with Rago and the rest of his followers.
